    I live in Jackson, SC but have family/friends in Thomson. We have been having ongoing problems with the Thomson city and county police. The whole dept is corrupted. Just tonight someone shot a gun towards me and my family and my 2 year old nephew because the neighbors saw us listening to them fighting and all we were doing was hanging out/relaxing in the yard. 3 police cars came. Nothing was done. They are good with lies, contradicting themselves, being assholes/rude, and most than likely sleeping around with bad people so that they can get a way with whatever they do. Its a shame. I wish I had the money to get my sister and her kids out of Thomson. Her husband recently left her and the kids, so after tonight I know its probably gonna be hard maybe dealing with that thought that they might shoot one of us one of these days. I hate how cops get a way with everything.
